Attend a Chamber After Hours event
What is Chamber After Hours? Chamber After Hours is a series of ongoing networking events that are organized by the North Santiam Chamber of Commerce volunteer board members.
Why should I attend? Chamber After Hours and other networking events have a proven track record of helping business and non-profit representatives get together for better exposure of their programs and goals. Attendees come from all walks of the business spectrum and you might be surprised to learn just how active your neighbors are in the community!
Who can attend? Any member of the community who has an interest in sharing their business, non-profit or community event can attend any Chamber After Hours events. While other Chambers limit their guests to Chamber members only, our volunteer board of directors have decided to keep these events open to everyone in the spirit of encouraging collaboration with everyone. There is no charge to attend any Chamber After Hours event.
Where are these events held? Chamber After Hours are typically held in the evening. The dates and times of each event are variable, depending on the location and hosting business. They are usually held at the hosting business’ location, although some home based business owners have chosen to utilize a local public space to accommodate more people. What should I bring? Bring your enthusiasm and marketing materials, such as business cards, flyers, coupons, mugs and pens. Each business representative gets a few moments to tell the group about their business. Some attendees also bring a small prize gift to give away during the prize drawing.
Host a Chamber After Hours Event!
Are you looking for more exposure for your business?
Members of the Chamber are invited to host an upcoming Chamber After Hours event! These events usually bring in about 30-40 local, active business community members, which gives you a one-on-one opportunity to showcase your location, resources and new programs.
Hosting businesses are asked to provide refreshments like coffee, tea and light snacks. The Chamber can help coordinate a location if you do not have a public building. Events are typically held on a Thursday evening; however, this is not set in stone and we can accommodate your schedule!
